Swedish Massage
Swedish massage is the best-known and most popular type of massage therapy, and it is the type on which all other commonly practised massage styles are based. This is a gentle form of massage that uses long strokes, deep circular movements, kneading, light shaking and tapping to help relax and energize you. It’s especially good for easing back pain and promoting relaxation.
Deep Tissue Massage
Deep Tissue massage is based on Swedish Massage but uses slower, more-powerful strokes to target the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue, commonly to help with muscle damage from injuries. Deep Tissue massage helps release resistant knots to create a better range of motion for joints and muscles. It also releases toxins, tension and pain and helps promote the healing of scar tissue.
Sports Massage
Sports massage is geared toward people involved in sport activities to help prevent or treat injuries. It often includes Trigger Point and Deep Tissue massage.
